tārakaṃ sarva-viṣayaṃ sarvathā-viṣayam-akramaṃ ca-iti viveka-jaṃ jñānam

Thus knowing born of discrimination, liberating all objects, objects in every way and non-sequential


tāraka - liberating

sarva - all

viṣaya - an object; any object of affection or concern or attention

sarvathā - in every way, at all times

akrama - non-sequential

ca - and

iti - thus; in this manner; something that has been said or thought; having so said; (it is used like a quotation mark)

viveka - discrimination, discernment; the faculty of distinguishing and classifying things according to their real properties; the power of separating the invisible Spirit from the visible world (or spirit from matter); truth from untruth

ja - born

jñāna - knowing; knowledge; higher knowledge
